Legendary alto saxophonist and bandleader Bobby Watson brings his quintet to the stage for an evening of hard bop, soulful swing, and modern jazz rooted in the blues and Kansas City tradition. A former music director of Art Blakey’s Jazz Messengers, Watson delivers music full of memorable melodies, deep grooves, and the unmistakable energy of a jazz master still evolving the sound today.
