Jazzway 6004

Jazzway 6004 is a not-for-profit organization, in a house concert setting. We promote jazz and blues by offering an intimate and warm listening room to encourage interaction between musicians and their audience. Our goal is to educate the public about jazz, and to build jazz audiences (and converts!) for our talented area musicians. All money collected benefits the musicians.

The elegant private residence that houses Jazzway 6004, was built in 1966 by a well-known Baltimore bookie who hosted lavish, high-profile soirees. Local legend has it that both Dean Martin and Frank Sinatra were guests here

Recently renovated, the mid-century modern jewel features, soaring ceilings and warm eucalyptus floors upstairs, slate and travertine floors downstairs, 2 large stone fireplaces to ward off the winter chill and an intimate performance space for 65 with a sound system, Baldwin grand piano and Gretch drum set.
