RECENT CAREER HIGHLIGHTS
2020-2024: club gigs as a leader as well as sideman work in Maryland and Washington D.C. with jazz artists such as vibraphonist Chuck Redd, pianist Dick Durham, Hammond B3 organ artist Judd Nielsen, guitarist Al Orlo, and international blues artist Ms. Vaneese Thomas. 2015-2018: worked with bassist Brian Torff in a variety of performance/recording situations led by the bassist/composer.
Throughout the 2000s until leaving the band in 2011, Greg was a member of Brooklyn-based Peruvian psychedelic cumbia band Chicha Libre—a project featured on NPR, National Geographic TV, and presented at the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C. The group delivered festival and club performances worldwide (Montreal jazz Festival, and shows in Germany, Denmark, Belgium, Colombia, and Istanbul).  Greg’s first recording as a leader, Tell Your Story (featuring stellar New York jazz artists such as Bob DeVos on guitar and Harvie S on bass) was released in 2018 and logged plays on nationwide college/independent jazz radio. Tell Your Story was produced by 2018 NEA Jazz Master, Mr. Todd Barkan
