One of the Mid-Atlantic’s most versatile and sought after bassists, Dr. Ravita appears with many jazz and classical ensembles. O’s Place magazine calls Ravita “One of the finest bassists outside of New York City.” A college and university jazz professor Dr. Ravita hosts a weekly radio program on WMTB 89.9 FM. He has shared the stage with jazz greats Jimmy Heath, Bobby Shew, Claudio Roditi and Ruby Glover, appearing in countless clubs, concert halls and festivals.
