Jazz Club Sarasota will present a program celebrating the music of the great Louis Armstrong - known as a true innovator of music, largely responsible from changing the emphasis from collective improvisation to a solo art, and who also helped bring jazz into the mainstream of American culture. The Quintet will play a number of pieces of Armstrong's, including these staples of his repertoire: When It’s Sleepy Time, Down South, Stardust, St. James Infirmary, and What a Wonderful World
