Stanford Jazz Workshop presents the 2010 Stanford Jazz Festival from June 25 through August 7 on the Stanford campus in Palo Alto. Known for the intimacy of its venues and welcoming atmosphere, the Festival will feature more than 100 artists with over 30 concerts in a six-week span. The Festival opens on Friday June 25 with A Night of Brazilian Jazz! featuring quadruple Grammy-nominee Luciana Souza, and includes performances by saxophonists Joshua Redman and Charles McPherson, trumpeters Dave Douglas and Nicholas Payton and pianists Randy Weston, Fred Hersch and Junior Mance.
