Discovered by Quincy Jones, Cuban piano phenomenon Alfredo Rodriguez is no stranger to the international stage. He’s made appearances throughout Europe and Latin America since the age of fifteen. An unapologetic devotee of composers like Bach, Ravel and Stravinsky, Rodriguez has been known to infuse classical elements into his dazzling improvisational forays. Now living in the US, the 24-year-old, assembled a crack trio that pairs his otherworldly ivory skills with the driving bass work of Ricardo RodrÃguez and the intuitive trap set artistry of Henry Cole.
