With a remarkable 40-year career, Carrington has lent her talent to over 100 recordings and has collaborated with jazz legends such as Herbie Hancock, Wayne Shorter, Stan Getz, and Esperanza Spalding. Her unwavering commitment to education has earned her honorary doctorates from York University, Manhattan School of Music, and Berklee College of Music. Furthermore, her impactful curatorial work and music direction have graced prestigious institutions around the globe.
