JAZZ AT THE CHIMES welcomes brilliant trumpeter Erik Jekabson with his quintet Sunday, January 18, 2014 at 2:00 pm at Chapel of the Chimes, 4499 Piedmont Avenue, Oakland.

Jekabson has been on the Bay Area jazz scene for over two decades in various musical incarnations as both a bandleader and sideman. He’ll be center stage at the upcoming Jazz at the Chimes concert, held in the visually stunning, acoustically vibrant Chapel of the Chimes. Joining him on this date will be Kasey Knudsen on saxophone, Matt Clark on piano, John Wiitala on acoustic bass and Hamir Atwal on drums.
