Lapis Luna, one of New York City's premier vintage style jazz bands, continues their residency at the famed Plaza Hotel on Thursday nights in the Rose Club. Featuring vocalist Shawn Aileen Clark, the band plays standards, obscure swing-era songs, a retro inspired latin music in a gorgeous and relaxed lounge setting. With John Merrill on guitar, Brian Floody on drums, and Chris Pistorino on bass, along with fabulous rotation of guests bi-weekly including Tom Beckham on vibraphone and Chris Byars on sax.
