Pianist and composer Jake Hart will be performing an excerpt from his latest solo piano composition by memory. It utilizes creative borrowing from a multitude of different composers and gives the listener the feeling that the music is completely improvised.
 
Jake Hart is a pianist and composer who released his debut album titled Collage through Sunnyside Records on May 3rd, 2024. The album received praise in the Los Angeles Jazz Scene where the reviewer Scott Yanow wrote how “the two Parts sound spontaneous and bridge the gap between modern classical music and jazz.
