Please join me and the George Crotty Trio in Washington Heights for an evening of jazz featuring Cello, Bass, and percussion. Musicians George Crotty, John Murchison, and Jeremy Smith will grace us with cinematic, pluralistic, and conversational music that draws on modal jazz, Indian raga, and Arabic maqam. The program will feature new compositions as well as selections from their 2nd album, "Chronotope" released in 2022.
Guest arrival begins at 7:00 pm with music to begin around 7:30 pm. Please note we will be taking our shoes off when entering the apartment. I'll provide light snacks. Please feel free to bring a bottle of something nice to share....
