Josh Johnson makes his first return as a band leader to the twin cities jazz scene shortly after finishing undergrad at UW-Eau Claire, bringing new and old friends to the stage. ‘Wired For Sound’ repertoire includes compositions from Bird, Miles, Monk, Trane and beyond, including compositions from modern artists who show a direct lineage to these titans, including Kenny Garret, Marcus Strickland as well as original compositions from the band members.
