At Lancaster Jazz Festival we aim to provide an artists playground that is both pioneering and unique. We produce an ambitious jazz festival based in the centre of Lancaster every September while having our roots in artist development.

We support artists year-round, not only making places to play that are accommodating to new and original music but having a company that actively works with and for them, long term. We facilitate new artistic explorations and actively support artists in making the next step in their careers. We are an organisation that works for artists and then shouts about them from rooftops.

Lancaster Jazz Festival is a not-for-profit organisation funded through partnerships and via grants. It's then put together by a Festival Team who work year round to help make Lancaster Jazz Festival and everything else that we do run on super tight budgets.
