Lunchtime Swing Sessions (2.30pm) with Sugar T & The Swells: Inspired by the Jump Blues and classic R n’ B of the 50’ & 60’s this six piece band’s slick combination of hard swinging arrangements and irresistible rhythms draws on the music of Etta James, Dinah Washington, Johnnie Otis and Ray Charles. Fronted by the sassy vocals of Sugar T, aka Hazel Sim & band leader and trumpeter Ralph Lamb, the band’s collective performing, recording and television credits include Chaka Khan, Jamie Cullen, Michael Buble, Incognito and Matt Bianco among many others.
