Dawn was honored to pay tribute to Ella Fitzgerald and Nancy Wilson for JazzArts Charlotte's Jazz Room series, as well as the featured soloist for JazzArts Charlotte’s staging of Max Roach’s Freedom Now Suite in Uptown Charlotte. At Charlotte’s Middle C Jazz, she has been a featured artist on several occasions and has been able to share the music of Sarah Vaughan and more! Dawn serves as a music educator for her own organization, DNAMuzic— an organization that digs deep to share the origins of music and its connections to culture and history.
