Festival regulars are well familiar with Ted Rosenthal's masterful interpretations of historic jazz and Songbook classics, and most will remember his extraordinary performance of the original version of George Gershwin's masterpiece Rhapsody In Blue opening night of OFAM 2015 with Jesse Cloninger and company. In honor of this year's Festival theme, Ted dedicates an entire evening in tribute to Gershwin, indeed one of the master of masters of American popular music. Based on Ted's 2015 CD of the same name, the concert features his piano solo arrangement of Rhapsody in Blue and a choice selection of other Gershwin favorites.
