The second instalment of the Phil Ware Concert Series as part of a new artist residency in partnership with Triskel Christchurch and supported by Cork City Council.
This December sees Phil Ware and his trio working with vocalist Ian Shaw, trumpeter Anders Bergcrantz and tenor saxophonist Bobby Wellins – all three with a string of awards to their names – to shine a spotlight on that oft-maligned genre, the popular song, with particular emphasis on the catalogue of Burt Bacharach.
