ROOM ANOTHER is a newly founded ensemble led by trumpeter Bastian Stein and bassist Florian Herzog. Together with Evi Filippou (vibraphone), Felix Hauptmann (piano), and Leif Berger (drums), the ensemble brings together influential representatives of the young German jazz scene.

The music of ROOM ANOTHER moves between compositional precision and collective improvisation. At its core is the idea of “space” an artistic place where four musical personalities interact as equals. Particularly influential are Stein’s powerful yet agile trumpet sound and Herzog’s rhythmic, structural bass lines.
