Nissen Mosh plays refreshingly new original compositions by Danish saxophonist Asger Nissen. Having established himself in the German jazz scene in recent years, Asger Nissen is now ready to present his brand new band. Joining him are some of his closest and most popular musicians on the Berlin scene: Valentin Gerhardus, Thorbjørn TB Stefansson and Marius Wankel.

The music of Nissen Mosh reflects some of Asger’s favourite impulses from old, modern and contemporary music in a fresh, curious and lively expression. The sometimes almost symbiotic interplay between Valentin Gerhardus and Asger Nissen creates a special atmosphere of harmonic spontaneity as well as melodic exuberance, accompanied by the rhythm section consisting of TB and Marius Wankel, who not only lay a solid foundation but can also take the lead, establishing a strong, daring and unified band sound....
