Join the Chicago JazzOrchestra as they celebrate the legacy of jazz icon Roy Eldridge, one of thefirst black musicians to become part of an all-white band and one of the mostinfluential trumpeters of the swing era. The concert will feature renownedtrumpeter Jon Faddis and extraordinary vocalist Alyssa Allgood performingaccurate transcriptions of Eldridge’s recordings by CJO Conductor and ArtisticDirector Jeff Lindberg.
