THE BALKANS JAZZ PROJECT is the latest formation assembled by Mihály Borbély for which he has picked the most like-minded jazz- and folk musicians he’d had the good fortune to play with. Their extremely successful concerts so far have proved that the tremendous energies, rhythms and wonderful melodies, both of the Carpathian Basin and the Balkans could be gathered into a single magic focus. His fellow adventurers in this exciting musical quest will be ÁRON HORVÁTH on cimbalom, MIHÁLY GYÖRGY on guitar and bouzouki, KRUNOSZLÁV AGATICS accordion, BALÁZS HORVÁTH on bass and HUNOR G. SZABÓ on drums and percussion.
