jazzahead! is the most important international jazz trade show, incl. its integrated showcase festival. For the past eight years, the trade fair has been steadily growing.

The showcase festival features top-class jazz from Germany, Europe and beyond and has established itself as one of the most important international networking spaces for jazz musicians. Bands that perform here have previously submitted an application and have been selected by a jury of experts.

In addition to the trade events, jazzahead! features a broad range of musical and cultural events that are organized in cooperation with numerous arts & culture institutions in Bremen: the Partner Country Program: gala concerts, film screenings, exhibtions, theater, literature, dance and lots more present jazzahead!‘s partner country‘s culture and art scene over a span of a few weeks. Following this year‘s partner country France, in 2016 Switzerland will present itself at jazzahead!
