In a salute to America’s 250th anniversary, pianist Makoto Ozone will present his unique take on "Rhapsody in Blue," the renowned tribute to the kinetic energy of America's cities in the 1920s with the Boston Philharmonic Youth Orchestra, under the direction of Conductor Benjamin Zander, at Symphony Hall in Boston. The program also includes Pulitzer Prize-winning Boston composer John Harbison’s "Remembering Gatsby" (Foxtrot for Orchestra), and Copland’s Symphony No. 3, an unmistakably American masterpiece.
